Fast way to delete all highlights and notes on a page

Take a snapshot (from main menu or the little camera on the toolbar) while enLighter Retriever is off.   This will overwrite the current page with a fresh clean one.

Set up your categories early

Try to set your categories up as soon as possible to avoid confusion.   Change the labels, colors, and font settings good and early so you start associating a look with a category (especially if you are using it to distinguish courses).   You will tend to categorize your annotations as you go, saving loads of time later.   Also, highlights and notes that have changed, deleted, or inactivated categories can drop into the "Default" category or be confused.   Best to set it up early.

Quick paraphrase (anchored) note

Immediately add a note and highlight in one shot.   After selecting the text to highlight, push the note button instead of the highlight button.   Change your mind?   Click off the checkbox indicating you want to add a note to the current highlight and your note will be unanchored (appearing at the top of the document) instead.

Use category font settings

You may have overlooked the power of font size and style when setting up your categories.   You may like the conservative look of just using subtle color, but if it's impact or focus and emphasis you are after, try playing with size and style in the category settings.

Get a list of all documents in your library

You can use ReSearch² to see all of your documents in your library by searching with a common element like a space.   Try searching for " " (i.e. quote-space-quote).   This will  list all of the documents in your library.
