Photocopy Your Favourite Web Pages N-LITER Golden Retriever will fetch them for you on or off-line TORONTO, September 10, 2003 -- Just in time for the new school year, N-LITER Inc. (http://www.enlighter.com) today announced the launch of Golden Retriever, an online tool that photocopies and retrieves information. Golden Retriever works like a photocopier for the Web, saving pages with users' notes and highlights, which can be quickly retrieved on or off-line. The product is perfect for anyone who uses the Web as an information resource (97% of Internet users do), and is particularly useful for students and researchers. Golden Retriever is designed to solve searching and researching issues such
as information overload and the "Where have I seen that before?" syndrome.
The handy toolbar downloads to an Internet Explorer browser and provides
everything needed to research online. Users can choose from a list of the
most popular search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo!, etc) right from the
toolbar to start their search. Once something of interest is found, users
can add a note or highlight to the Web page and it is automatically
photocopied for them. Finally, when users want the information again,
Golden Retriever fetches the saved page, complete with their personal
annotations. "N-LITER Golden Retriever is the only knowledge management system designed
for the average Internet user," said Bernardo Sanchez, president of N-LITER.
"We want to make managing online information fun and easy - that's why we
named it after a dog. Now you can send your Golden Retriever to fetch your
research as easily and comfortably as sending a trained dog for your
slippers."
