Mitja Prelovšek is the founder and the director of Enlighter. He has a wide background ranging from architectural lighting design, automatic systems and electrical engineering. He holds bachelor degree in electrical engineering and master's degree in Architectural Lighting Design obtained from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. During and after his studies he worked as a lighting designer on wide range of projects in several countries.
He is active in research of: urban lighting, night-time imageability of cities, daylighting in architecture, sustainability in artificial lighting and interactive and responsive environments. He received several awards for his work, lately also the distinguished Young Lighter of the Year 2010 award from Society of Light and Lighting in United Kingdom.
He was invited to present his work in Belgrade, Ljubljana, Stockholm and London. You can see some of the projects he worked on prior establishing Enlighter Studio on the map below.
