We collaborated on the lighting design for an underpass in the city of Winterthur in Switzerland as part of a workshop of Professional Lighting Designers' Association.

The design team wanted to create an atmosphere that would enhance the dark and unpleasant underpass. In addition we wanted to help the traffic flow by creating separate zones for pedestrians and bicyclists. By using a high contrast coloured lighting full of accents we attracted the pedestrians to the outer side of the underpass while the bicyclists preferred to ride on the inner side with the prevailing homogeneous white light.
